Is anyone using wireless and thier suggestions on ........ One could go 802.11b, seems to be supported fairly well with Ltsp and Linux in general, but I'm worried about performance, range and interference.
802.11a doesn't seem to be well supported yet for Linux in general but maybe I'm wrong? Dlink, Proxim, Netgear have pci cards (Atheros chipset) but Linux support seems slim at this point. But..... one could use 802.11a access points and keep it simple. Access points being the most expensive thou. I guess I'm really wondering if anyones' messed with the 802.11a pci cards yet or if sticking with the 802.11b pci cards will yeild good results or just go for the 802.11a access points? ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
