I know I have asked about this before ..

But I have now got a protocol analyser on our network in an attempt to get
some sort of figures/comparison going - but what to measure ??

The result I am looking for is :

How does X measure up to Citrix/RDP/VNC ??
I know that the commercial systems perform better, but by how much ??

Are there any other remote protocols to use under Linux ??

In South Africa, typical dedicated connections are only 64Kb/s, and I am
having to look at trying to get more than 6 people to work comfortably across
this link (We currently use a mixture of RDP/ICA on Win2000 Servers)
