I've noticed a peculiarity after doing the upgrade. After a few
sessions, clients hang during tftp and won't boot again - nothing in
/var/log/messages or /secure. The only way I've found to clear the
problem is to restart xinetd (I'm using RH7.3).

When the first client boots after the restart, there *are* some entries
in /messages I haven't seen before:

Oct 23 10:32:43 server xinetd[3897]: file descriptor of service tftp has been closed
Oct 23 10:32:43 server xinetd[3897]: select reported EBADF but no bad file descriptors
were found
Oct 23 09:32:43 server in.tftpd[3901]: tftp: client does not accept options

Has anyone any clues what might be going on please?

Thanks - John
