I'm working with a client who has purchased > 6,000 of the Optoma
ST320 units (http://www.optoma.com) from an outfit called "Acute
Network Technology" (http://www.acutetech.com). The ST320 comes
as a Windows CE only device, but they sell a number of similar
units, some with stand-alone Linux images.

The ST-320 terminals can be reloaded with a different flash
image in two ways:

  1) Using menus from Windows CE allows loading of the flash
  using tftp or NFS

  2) While booting, let it display the initial graphical
splash screen and press <Alt> U - it will then scan the
local network segment for a tftp server with a software
load and download it into flash.

I've been interested in reloading one of these terminals, but
have been trying to get more information about it first. I've
been looking for the right boot image, and have seen several
different types from Rom-O-Matic, but an not sure which type
to use. The Disk-On-Chip is loaded with an image that may or
may-not be compressed. With windows CE, it uncompresses the
image into memory and starts booting.

I'd be interested in any information on how to use these
devices with LTSP. Any pointers?
