Hi guys! I got it! LTS is running on my IBM RS/6000 B50B (7046) with SuSE 7.3. To get it running it's not that big deal, but the distri (SuSE) is so annoying (there is no other up-to-date distri which supports this hardware instead of AIX). To find the right config files and settings it takes years. Now I know why I like RedHat and Debian. There is only one little problem. I hope someone can solve it. Maybe it depends on the distri. I don't get the LTS-login screen on the client. Instead of it I get the gdm/xdm which means I can change if I want KDE, Gnome and all the others. The next, and more annoying, point is that from there it is possible to shut down or reboot the server (if you know the root-password). Does anybody know what I made wrong or where to change the setting?
Greetings from a quite happy man.
