Has anyone seen this problem. I am upgrading my LTSP network to gigabit up
link at servers. I have a 24 x 100 switch with two gigabit connectors to
which i attach servers. When i attach a workstation on the 100 end and try a
boot i get a media test failure. However, if i also put the servers on the
100 side and leave the gigabit connectors free, booting is fine but
obviously limited to 100. Also if i use another 100 switch in between
workstation and gigabit switch i can use the gigabit connection. This is
obviously a workaround but more costly in terms of hardware and space. Can
anyone throw some light on this?
