Yes,

X on X does the trick.  It is pretty cool because you can run it
rootless meaning that if you want, both MacOSX (aqua) and X can
be run simutaneously on ths same display.

Go to apple.com, developer and look for the unix tools.

There is a also a project called fink which will also have the
X on X tool.
