Specific information about the netvista being offered is here

http://www5.pc.ibm.com/us/products.nsf/$wwwPartNumLookup/_8363EUS

I just spoke with the retailer, 'mark' assures me that there are atleast 200
left.

Apparently the netvista uses a Geode GLXV/CX5530 video processor, and the
audio processor is National Semiconductor LM4546 AC'97.

Hope this information is enough to determine if it can be used with the ltsp

Joey

Subject: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] $99 IBM NetVista Thin Clients

Joey,
before you quote the project, find out what do we need to do to
make them boot into ltsp. Out of the box, they don't. I just got one and
it is very nice, but I think it requires ether boot code on the flash. The
flash memory is *not* provided, but there is a socket for standard CF2
flash card. I think it needs programming similar (possibly same) as
Jammin-125 and I don't know first thing about providing it. The person to
ask would be Jim McQ., but it is not nice to ask him to help destroy his
own business ;-)
Another thought, how many are available? julius
