We've got 1.2b running quite happily here. We've got the latest Flash
beta installed, which causes occasional problems, but otherwise no
issues. I've not tried running it is a local application.

I've been meaning to give the Phoenix browser (Mozilla-lite) a try in
line with the 'small is beautiful' philosophy, but haven't got round to
it yet. Might be worth a try: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/phoenix/
