Thankyou very much for your reply to my email the other day.

Although the problem was not solved:
I still get a black screen when i turn on the client (when it starts X) Everything loads, i can enter Runlevel 3 no problem. XFS is running on the server and there was no line in the XFS config file about TCP (no-listen) so that was not the problem and i could no find where to put the "FontPath = "TCP/192.168.0.254:7100"" Line??

You may remember I installed Mandrake 9 and had this problem. Well since then i have reinstalled Mandrake 8.2 and the problem has appeared here to!! I feel quite annoyed because i'm doing everything i did before! Its all the same! ?? I'm Confused ??

Sorry i am fairly new to this whole linux thing (Although i think i learn fast).

Could it be the Video Card? (Its a pritty standard S3 Trio though)?? Or some other hardware?
