Magnus,
If you are running ltsp_x_core-3.0.3 or ltsp_x_core-3.0.4,
try doing this:
ldconfig -r /opt/ltsp/i386
That will rebuild the ld.so.cache file for the workstations
which will allow some important libraries to be found, and
that may solve your backspace problem.
