Hallo, first of all:
can you use your normal name in the maillinglist If you write a new message, beginn a new thread, and write it to ltsp-discuss... and not as pm to me. > I stumbled on a font server problem. What should i do to the FontPath entry > (the riginal entry is "unix/: -1" ). > > I've tried to change it to "tcp/localhost:7100" > and got this error mesage: I've edit following at SuSE 8.1 Section "Files" FontPath ... . . . FontPath "tcp/192.168.0.254:7100" EndSection > Could not open default font 'fixed' You've got to edit also /etc/X11/fs/config (the config-file of the fontserver #no-listen=tcp clientlimit = 30 And you've got to be sure, that the font 'fixed' is in the catalogue = /usr/... At SuSE 8.1 there is not the fixed font, so I've got to copied the font-paths of the X11Config.
