Dear all,

I know it defeats the purpose somewhat - but I'm having some trouble
getting a local window manager.

I wish to test up the terminal server running both local apps and local
window managers.

I've set up all the nis stuff, and that appears to work fine.

 [testrig0]
        XSERVER            = XF86_SVGA
        NIS_SERVER         = 172.16.0.32
        NIS_DOMAIN         = ltsp
        X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL   = "PS/2"
        X_MOUSE_DEVICE     = "/dev/psaux"
        X_MOUSE_RESOLUTION = 400
        X_MOUSE_BUTTONS    = 3
        USE_XFS            = N
        LOCAL_APPS         = Y
        LOCAL_WM           = Y
        RUNLEVEL           = 5

This goes to runlevel 5 - but desplays an X session on the server
machine rather that the local machine.

I can telnet to the localmachine and login (to the yp / nis stuff
appears ok).

My /var/log/message's file looks like this. (testrig2 is the client and
testrig1 the server).

Any ideas - whats this user rpc not found all about.

Kind regards
