|Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] Unable to load module 3c509.o
|
|I configured ltsp on a workstation having a 3c905b pci network card and
|it works fine. However, when i try to configure another client having a
|3c509b ISA network adaptator, it gives the following error:
|
|warning: loading ..... 3c509.o will taint the kernel : no license.
|
It's a warning, not an error. The point is the kernel cannot detect the GPL
license statement in the module. This is awkward: where does that module come
from? Standard modules from the stock kernel sources are all GPL.
