The MacOS X does not support networked GUI's with Aqua, of course you can run xfree86 on Aqua but you will not have access to Aqua applications on the thin clients.
There also is on commerical vnc solutions for MacOSX. There are some ones out there, but there is no support. It seems that possible apple made them pull it from their websites. Of course, you could run xfree86 or linux on the Xserver, but in that case using Intel architecture may be more pratical due to cost, and applications available.
