We're trying some new boxes with i845 chipsets on LTSP - most of them work
fine but one of them etherboots, pivot_roots, etc. OK and then dies when X
tries to start - by dies I mean the machine actually powers down, the fan
turns off, etc. (but the power light remains on). Very probable that it's
bad hardware, but when we try booting "Demo Linux" off a CD-ROM X seems to
start OK and the machine doesn't have any problems that we have found yet.
Does LTSP do anything non-standard when it comes to starting X?
