I would highly recommend that you update your PXE code to v2.0 or higher since PXE 1.0 is too bug-ridden to be useful. You can download the flash utility to update your boot ROM from Intel's website.

On server side tail /var/log/messages shows DHCPOFFER and DHCPDISCOVER but
no DHCPREQUEST. Also if I try to ping client I get message that destination
host unreachable.
Does pxe-1.0 have some bug or that is problem of dhcpd.conf? Does anyone
have right dhcpd.conf (with PXE options) for SuSE 8.0?
