Well, it's Linux World time again, in New York City.
Just like many of the past Linux World conferences, LTSP.org
will have a booth in the exhibit hall, and we're looking for
volunteers to help us man the booth and spread the word
of LTSP.
The exhibits are open the following hours:
Wednesday, Jan 22 10:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday, Jan 23 10:00am - 5:00pm
Friday, Jan 24 10:00am - 4:00pm
There will be 6 or 7 of us travelling from the Detroit area,
but we'd like to enlist the help of others to keep the booth
manned with 2 or 3 people throughout the entire show.
The LTSP booth has always been swamped with attendees, and
we really want to make sure that every question from every
attendee gets answered.
I'd like to get commitments from people to cover a 3 or 4
hour shift.
Also, we are hoping for the chance to provide a LTSP
setup for the Media/Press room. To do that we will need
to provide a support person in the room throughout the
entire show.
This serves 3 purposes.
1 To make sure the equipment is working properly.
2 Promote the LTSP solution to the media people.
This is a great chance to get some exposure in
the news.
3 Make sure the equipment doesn't get up and walk
away.
So, if you are going to be in the area for Linux World, and
you want to help out the project, we would certainly appreciate
the help.
Thanks,
Jim McQuillan
