EVERYONE: I GOT THIS ERROR AND AM ALSO INTERESTED IN
AN ASWER BEYOND WHAT I HAVE SEEN

Divyesh I have seen this a few times on a terminal, a
couple reboots helped me.

Its something about gdm-conf file about the ammount of
open sessions allowed simultanously, it so happens
that there is no elegant way to shut off a terminal
(shut down computer button) and xdmcp is actually
aware of an open session and it never gets told that a
terminal is turned off, since you only pressed the
physical off button, I recall the ammount was 16 and I
changed it to 160 and never saw the problem again,
since then I upgraded to rh8 from mdk9 and its too
early to see if this problem will appear on my new
system, so the mistery remained for me.

I think its still out there, and for now, I have not
seen a speciffic way to really fix it.

so this goes to a new question, is it possible to give
gdm terminal login screens, the "turn computer off"
option found only on the servers login screen? and of
course, this woulndt be complete, without a nice
little app for the sysadmin, to turn off clients from
the server, eather via gui front end, shell or even
web (and in the process clean up the server before
powering the terminal off) 8D

That guys, would be cool! 8D
