I have a new wmp11 and it appears that they have changed the chipset
from a prism2 (which is supported by Linux) to a broadcom (which is not)
this may change if someone gets around to writing a driver

Wireless works very well, in fact I am typing this on my laptop while
sitting next to my swimming pool. The system takes about a minute to
boot once it receives a dhcp reply from the server. I have WEP
encryption turned on which slows the network speed by about 18% but it
is not noticeable from a users point of view.
