The object code of a local app resides on the server. Upon execution request it is transferred over the network to the RAM of the terminal. It is then executed from there by the processor in the terminal. Therefore you definately don't need any disk, be it hard or soft, to use local apps on terminals. -------------------------------------------- Wouter DeBacker ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) 19-Dec-02 00:27:18 (SuSE Linux Xfmail) -------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: Order your Holiday Geek Presents Now!
