I am considering implementing a home LTSP setup. I have four machines now in a peer to peer with one being a Proxy/Firewall and the others being W98 and Linux. I am doing everything I can to avoid upgrading to XP. I am holding onto my W98 for as long as I can and I hope to replace it with either standalone Linux or LTSP.
I am now logging into the one dedicated linux machine with Cygwin and XDM, so LTSP would seem to be the next logical step. As I would like to use existing hardware (at least for proof of concept phase is over) for my wife. She has an Emachine EOne. It still runs W98 passably well and I know that there are at least two web pages about installing linux on it. It seems likely that it will work, but I was wondering if anyone knows of one being used as a client sucessfully?
