You might try booting a RedHat installation CD in rescue mode on your XP
box and running 'parted'.  I used RH 8.0.  Don't know whether the tool
is available in previous install disks.  It worked quite well on the
FAT32 filesystem that contained Win2K.  I'm not sure if it works with
NTFS or not.
