Thanks for your patience, I should have documented what I have done up to
now.

I basically followed the instructions on
http://www.ltsp.org/contrib/customkernel.html

Which works, but gives the "wrong" logo.

The themes and other info came from http://lpp.freelords.org/About.phtml

but I didn`t get very far with that. Their patch isn`t for the 2.4.18
kernel.

I tried copying the theme and install theme script from the freelords
download into the kernel source
directory created during the ltsp procedure but it complains that it can`t
find logo.h, which I can`t ether!

I am working on SuSE 8.1, though in this case all the source files etc are
downloaded from the net as per
the instructions so it should be a standard linux kernel rather than SuSE`s.

Doe`s this help anyone spot what I have done wrong?
