Hi Paul,
  Actually iam trying to mount CDROM locally as user,
as root I can mount it locally but as user I can't.
it is telling "you must be superuser" even I changed
/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/fstab file.

I appended these lines

        RAMDISK_SIZE       = 2048
        RCFILE_01          = "rmedia"
        RMEDAI_DEV01_NAME  = "floppy"
        RMEDIA_DEV01_NAME  = "/dev/fd0"
        RMEDIA_DEV02_NAME  = "cdrom"
        RMEDIA_DEV02_NAME  = /dev/cdrom
 in my lts.conf file. 
  Is it possible to mount CDROM as user?
I will be very thankful to you if you can suggest me 
at this point
