Those D-link 220s have a PnP mode. Etherboot will not work with that.
However you can get a DOS utility from D-link's website to set the IO
and IRQ to fixed values (make the IO one of the ports probed by
Etherboot, 0x300 is a popular value).  You will also need to pass
option-128 and option-129 to it in DHCP for LTSP, but taking it out of
PnP mode should get it working with Etherboot for the first step. Also
remember that the IRQ should be an available one and that if running on
a modern PCI motherboard you need to route that IRQ from the ISA bus to
the controller in the BIOS setup.
