Hi fellow ltsp-admins,
I just subscribed as I assume to be on topic here. If not, pls forgive
and point me to the right list, if possible.
I put up a clean ltsp-install on a suse 8.0 server. And it worked
instantly - thanks to the developers, great work.
But now I try to finetune the graphical appearance. Namely the fonts are
a bit ugly. A quick check with "xpdyinfo|grep resolution" showed an
asymetric resolution (something like 86x84 on one client, 95x97 on
another). To fix that and get better fonts I need to pass "-dpi n" with
n=resonable dpi-number to the X-server. Where can/should I do this?
ltsp.conf does not have such an entry, right?
As a workaround I edited ltsp's rc.local with XOPTS="-dpi 100" and
passing ${XOPTS} to the X-Server-call. But as a drawback now all WS get
this resolution, but they have quite different display-sizes (between 15
and 21 inches).
Is there a more clean solution? I appreciate every direct help (of
course :) but would even be happy about a RTFM.
TIA,
Alfred
