Hello,

I am a french user of Linux on my personnel computer.

I try to install LTSP on my network with :
_ a server with Mandrake 9.0 with KDE (kdm) called S1 192.168.0.1
_ a terminal X ( PC ) call W1 192.168.0.2

My server run fine with X and Kde.

When I boot my X terminal with a boot generated with Rom-o-matic,X start, but I have a only a grey screen with an X cursor, but no login.

The last message en the X terminal (CTR-ALT-F1) is : XDM: too many retransmissions.

I read the troubleshooting guide but all seems fine on my configuration
files.

I don't know how to debug the problem.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Fabien
