[Ltsp-discuss] Unable to run remote command

I want to run a remote command from the server under normal user and copy the results on the workstation terminal. To do so I use remote command. for example:

rsh workstation_name ls ">>" /dev/tty1

It appears that /dev/tty1 -> vc/1
and vc/1 is crw---------- root root so access is denied!

How to access terminal from a normal user ?
