I have another machine with an unrecognized video chipset. Via has
provided drivers for "Redhat 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3."

Their install script does the following:

1) Copies the following files:
  via_v4l_drv.o TO /lib/modules/$KERNELVERSION/kernel/drivers/media/video
  videodev.o TO /lib/modules/$KERNELVERSION/kernel/drivers/media/video
  via_drv.o TO /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers
  libddmpeg.a TO /usr/X11R6/lib/modules
  libddmpeg.so TO /usr/X11R6/lib
  libXv.so.1.0 TO /usr/X11R6/lib

2) Creates a link from libXv.so.1.0 TO libXv.so.1

3) Adds the following to /etc/modules.conf
  alias char-major-81 videodev
  alias char-major-81-0 via_v4l_drv
  alias char-major-81-1 via_v4l_drv

4) Adds "modprobe via_v4l_drv" to /etc/rc.local

5) Instructs the user to add some modelines and other changes to XF86Config

I've reproduced most of this in my /opt/lstp/i386 directory but couldn't
find the XF86Config file.

Can anyone give me some clues as to how to setup this configuration in
ltsp. I'd really love to get this machine running as a terminal.

Thanks
Rob
