Are you sure it's really a 5430 series ?
The 5420 series is not supported by XF4 and was quite popular.
One of my LTSP terminals is therefore restricted to using XF3.

Why ? It generally loads more slowly than XF3, which is very noticeable to users on a network that is running XDMCP chooser, and many old cards have inferior support in XF4. Also, 3D may be in Utah-GLX but not XF4.
