Hi All : 

Thanks for your responses on this issue but I realize that setting the
terminal to go to runlevel 3 is just to allow the terminal to go into
that runlevel upon bootup, the issue is that even with the terminal
going into runlevel 5 I still had access to a local shell at the
"CTRL-ALT-F1" Screen, I realize that actually holds the XFree Output
(since that is what started it) but it used to Background it at some
point and allow shell access. (I just verified .. I am not Fuzzy ...it
does not work in any of the CTRL-ALT-Fn screens ...) 

Any Ideas ?
