What applications you run (assuming not local apps) will not alter the
amount of network bandwidth required as that is dictated by the amount of
changes to the desktop "picture" and the interaction of the user. I'm aware
of thin client (Citrix) sites that run 700 stations. I see no reason that
LTSP couldn't scale to that.

Hello, I was wondering what sorts of bandwidth limitations there are on
running LTSP.  I know it will differ depending on what kinds of
applications, hardware etc... I am wondering specifically on just the
limitations imposed on the network connections.  For example, how many
clients logging on at the same time, can be supported by a typical
ethernet LAN?  How many concurrent clients can be supported by a network
all running a GUI and productivity apps like Mozilla and Star Office?
