What can you see in there that shows any problem ? I can ping the ws001 by name or ip address from the server I can ping the server from the workstation now I am new to this and I need to learn to read the logger properly.
This is step 1 of the project I getting involve step 2 will be quite different and the syslog should play a very important role.
By the way, I have never been as impressed with syslog (of all things!)
as I was when I saw it working between several LTSP stations and the
server. If standards like syslog were widely used in general computing,
troubleshooting would be a lot simpler than it currently is.
