I have those very settings on a Jammin 125 I bought 3 weeks ago, yet I also get lockups after perhaps 15 to 45 minutes. I too have kernel 3.0.5, installed as the Debian package ltsp-kernel-2.4.19-i386_3.0.5-0_all.deb I have the additional entries on my main computer (which also runs kernel 2.4.19), /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf (/etc/lts.conf seen locally), VOLUME = 100 # Speaker & WAVE volume pecentage MIC_VOLUME = 100 # Microphone volume CD_VOLUME = 75 # CD Audio volume
I must appologize that I haven't gone any further debugging this, partly because of the needed wait for sound to fail. Yet, one must consider that this nasd sound approach doesn't completely work out-of-the-box. Still, I am enchanted that I can hear sound, and I thank you guys for those sound ideas/techniques.
