I am new in LTSP, and find the installation
straight forward. I have installed everything
DHCP, NFS, TFTP and of course LTSP. The server
works fine, and I think everything in it. I am
using 3c509b NIC in my workstation and server. I
have already downloaded the code from
www.rom-o-matic. The workstation displays "
Searching for Server (DHCP)". I viewed the logs n
the server and it says:
DHCPDISCOVER from 00:10:4b:05:d6:b8 via etho
DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.1 to 00:10:4b:05:d6:b8 via
eth0

These messages keep on appearing on my logs for
several times, but the workstation keep on
searching for the server.

I'm stuck! I cant figure out the problem. Please
help!

Thanks,

Vic

Additional info:

Only two machines are connected to the switch,
the server and the workstation.

seems like my server dont want to send anything
to the workstation. I have already followed the
troubleshooting instruction from LTSP docs and
intructions from the users of mailing lists
(thank you very much guys, I really appreciate
your help! My very BIG THANKS to all of you!) but
still nothing happens.. Any other options?

Thanks again,

Vice
