I have old compaq computers with sis chipset and
es1869 sound

this link in russian

http://www.linux-bg.org/cgi-bin/y/index.pl?page=forum&msg=1461

led me to configure my sound card like this:

SOUND           = Y
SOUND_DAEMON    = nasd
SMODULE_01      = uart401
SMODULE_02      = sb io=0x220 irq=5 dma=1 dma16=-1
SMODULE_03      = mpu401 io=0x330
SMODULE_04      = opl3 io=0x388
SMODULE_05      = v_midi
VOLUME          = 100    # Speaker & WAVE volume
pecentage
MIC_VOLUME         = 100    # Microphone volume
CD_VOLUME          = 75     # CD Audio volume

now when I boot the ws I get ES1689 detected!! so that
made me smile, but now I boot into GUI where I have
configured the server to make a noise at init but
there is no noise

There are three jacks from the sound, I plugged the
speakers to the three (no sign that says which is for
speaker) and everytime there is no sound.

But the middle jack emmits noise when the mouse is
moved or its buttons clicked, any ideas?
