I have been using LTSP here at home now for a few weeks and I love it. The
only thing lacking is sound. I have been reading the LTSP Sound docs and
tinkering with it to no avail. Obviously, I am missing something.

I would appreciate any tips that anyone could pass along to get me on the
right track.

I have a Sound Blaster PCI128 which is detected as an Ensoniq 1371 (the server
just happens to have the same card). I have been trying to use Esound.
When I try to play something with XMMS it plays without protest, but I do not
get any sound at the terminal. I may be confused about the SMODULE arguments.

I have included my lts.conf entry below:

[ws254]
        XSERVER            = auto
        LOCAL_APPS         = N
        USE_NFS_SWAP       = N
        SWAPFILE_SIZE      = 48m
        RUNLEVEL           = 5
        SOUND              = Y
        SOUND_DAEMON       = esd
        VOLUME             = 100
        MIC_VOLUME         = 100
        CD_VOLUME          = 75
#       SMODULE_01         = auto
        SMODULE_01         = es1371
        SMODULE_02         = uart401
        SMODULE_03         = sb io=0x220 irq=7 dma=1
