Here's the link to the Contrib document I used. I opted for the dual DHCP server option.

He seems to plan having two DHCP servers on the same network segment, nothing to do with having Windows Terminal Software netbooted (at least not what concerns his question). >> How do I force a workstation to connect to my Linux >> Server giving out the >> DHCP info instead of the windows server. Colin (if I understand correctly) needs to have two DHCP-servers, one of which manages the linux boxes, the other one manages the windoze stuff. You can force your Linux boxes to at least get the etherboot info from linux using the VCI_Etherboot. There was a thread not two weeks ago, so please look into the archives. It had something to do with specifying --ip=rom when making your own vmlinuz.nbi, but more details didn't stay in my memory. >> Thanks >> >> Colin Berg >> [EMAIL PROTECTED] HTH & Best regards, Anselm mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
