I have been aware of load problems when there are too many users despite the huge investment on the server and the load balancing limit of DHCP of no more than 2 servers.
I have been investigating the simple X export display marble for a while and then I stumbled on to this amazing project (yes I think I sound like an infomercial): http://xass.sf.net/ X Application Server System XASS is a system for creating application servers for the X Window System. Clients can query servers or broadcast, and applications are run on the servers but displayed on the client's display. Applications are launched as the user who ran them, making XASS superb for heterogenous, distributed, loadbalanced systems. I am sure at least one of you will at least try it, since I do not really need the project just yet, I would like to read anyones results with this great implementation 8) __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
