Hi Ken, *, Just fixed the issue. FYI here's how I did it: I've got a neoware eon with neoware's linux on it in DOC. However, I don't want to use the DOC, but network boot ltsp instead. The system uses a geode cpu and has geode-typical integrated graphics etc. I found info on running X on geode based systems on www.openbrick.org. It says there Xfree support is limited. They offer an XF86_SVGA that should work for certain geode based systems. Didn't work for me unfortunately. Than I took the XF86_SVGA from the neoware linux and put that in the LTSP tree. Named it XF86_SVGA.neoware and put a XSERVER = statement with this value in the lts.conf. After that it worked just fine :)
The box includes neoware's linux, so I guess there's no license issue here. Wouldn't know how this would be for others however. I've read somewhere that support for all kinds of geode based systems should emerge in xfree86 soon, so it shouldn't be a problem in the long run. Also worth mentioning: openbrick has a document describing how to ltsp the openbrick. Ready-to-run etherboot software image and all is available from the site.
