1) 27F0... all at FF is wrong. There must be a CS at 3FFE and 3FFF
2) Your card must enable the bootrom (normally a DOS setup)
3) 0000 must have the aa55 (or 55aa) signature
If you programmed the rom correctly then the bootrom is not enabled
If it is enabled the rom is not correctly programmed.
[AA55.........................FFFFFFFF****] where **** is the Checksum
and
4000...7FFF = FF
(header may be 55AA, I can't remember)
Also some cards won't work for 0000...3FFF = FF
4000...7FFF = bootcode
BIOS scan is happy, but NIC sees 0000 = FFFF and disables rom.
