Give http://www.squirrelmail.org/. I use it at a couple places and it is probably your best bet and easiest to find others who can help you with it. A good number of features.
We actually started using it at work cause our IIS based Outlook Web Client was getting hit and couldn't be patched cause MS didn't have one.
