Help?

I would like to use a usb 'pen drive' instead of a floppy on the ltsp
clients with mtools (or MToolsFM). The device works fine with mtools
when plugged into the server. (Alternatively, I can mount it on the
server using mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbflash (lack of better mount name),
but really want MToolFM for access on the clients)

However, I cannot get a client to see the drive when plugged into the
thin client (a Via Eden 5000-based motherboard). I set mtools.conf to
have file="$DISPLAY" remote. I also include MODULE_01 = "usb-uhci" and
MODULE_02 = "usb-storage", but I can't find the /dev entry for the
device on the client (I use runlevel 3 to try and find this). I can't
even get it mounted at runlevel 3 on the client.

/proc/scsi/scsi shows that the device is detected.
/proc/scsi/usb-storage-0/0 has more info.

Host scsi0: usb-storage
Vendor: Stormblue Co., Ltd.
Product: USB Mass Storage Device
Serial Number: MASS STORAGE - 9
Protocol: Transparent SCSI
Transport: Bulk
GUID: 04831307fffe9ffffffffe99
Attached: Yes

If unplugged, Attached is No.

I looked at rmedia, but that didn't seem to work either.

What is the final missing piece that will make this work? I really need
to get this working so that I can demo for my school director and get
the go ahead on using LTSP as the solution for the school. I tried the
K12LTSP mailing list, but didn't get an answer to this yet.

Thanks,
