Regular ltsp will kill all apps and you will be logged
back into a fresh new desktop

But I have read on this list that there is an option
by integrating VNC so that sessions are kept active
with it and when you login with a workstation you are
just going into the running desktop, not very
effective when you have many users but I bet itd be
cool in a small office where there will never be too
many simultaneous users 8)

this is related, but I dont know if it does what I
mentioned
