A couple of other things you may want to try before completely converting to LTSP. Just setup a server and make boot floppy for your windows machine and boot to terminal. Need to go back? remove floppy and boot windows. OR.. Install Cygwin on windows and run an Xsession from the linux server in a window. Once you discover that the terminal is faster and more stable and you don' t need windows, just boot to terminal from floppy.
