funny thing :)
this answers a long time question I had in mind:
Will loose XFree86 it`s "networking nature" more and more, because the
"ordinary
computer user"  cries for more graphics speed and 3d and that stuff... ?
Client server model is the ESSENTIAL component inside X and I would like
to see THIS model being the reference in the future. Every App should work
with X -
only very special ones, which have special requirements should "undermine"
that.
Unfortunately, not alle programmers have "eaten" the spirit of X - and if
alternative
graphics systems will come around, programmers may/will use them instead of
X.
