I have recently seen a new problem with my LTSP network. My servers on occasions have spiralled out of control with load averages reaching 50 -60. This has usually been associated with heavy Mozilla use but on restarting them they can continue to do this when users log back in. There is usually no indication of any runaway programs and top can report 90% cpu un-used when the servers are on there way out. I have a suspicion that maybe the cpu's get too hot and lock up? Has anyone an explanation for this? regards garry
