Thanks, Chuck. However, I have compared the file size, and also tried
loading several other kernel files from that directory. I have also tried
changing the PATH. My concern is that this is a "stock" install from the
latest .iso image files and it's NOT working so we should try to isolate and
fix the problem so that it doesn't affect a LOT of other people, eh?
