Marvin and all,

I changed (lts.conf) from "USE_XFS = N" to "USE_XFS = Y". xfs was
running but I re-booted just in case. Now when I start the workstation I
get:

... Start of error message
Could not init font path element tcp/10.1.1.68:7100, removing from list!

Fatal server error:
Could not open default font 'fixed'
When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send a full
server output, not just the last messages. This can be found in the log
file "/var/log/XFree86.0.log". Please report problems to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
... End of error message

Thanks in Advance

George

I had the same problem. Evolution wasn't rendering fonts properly. Using the
XFS font server for the LTS thin clients fixed the problem.

1. In the lts.conf file:
    USE_XFS   = Y

2. To check if the font server is running on your server.
    # ps -A|grep xfs

3. If it's not running.
    /etc/init.d/xfs start

4. Reboot your LTS thin client
